Today is a good day for Snow Miku fans for updates! We’ve had official reveals of the Snow Miku 2021 Nednoroid, figma, as well as the wrapped street train today via Good Smile Comnpany staff, and the official Hatsune Miku blog. We’ve also now know the official name of the design: Glowing Snow ver.!
Matching with the theme of “Illumination”, the outfit features holiday light accents, and a clock-tower design on her cap! Natsumikan was quite ecstatic about the win, saying their dream of designing a Snow Miku had finally come true.
The results of the Snow Miku 2021 design contest were announced last night in a short video uploaded by Good Smile Company, featuring Yuki Mikudayo! 6 finalists were chosen, and can be voted on by fans until May 11th, 2020. Art design entries for the costume of Snow Miku 2021 and her pet rabbit Yukine are being accepted on Piapro! Every year, Hatsune Miku and Snow Miku fans from around the world are invited so submit their design ideas for a chance to have their Snow Miku featured at the Sapporo Snow Festival in Hokkaido! The winning design will also be turned into a Nendoroid and Figma, and will be used in promotional material for the event.
The full PV for the Snow Miku 2020 theme song “Poka Poka Planet” is now available on YouTube! The music and artwork was composed and animated by Harumaki Gohan and his art studio. Expect to hear this song played throughout various Snow Miku celebrations in Sapporo!

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of Snow Miku, and the 2019 design was once again selected by fans through online votes between a selection of outfits all submitted to piapro by fans! This year the theme was “Princess of the Hokkaido Winter”, and the winning Snow Miku design was this version based on illustrations by -L F-! The design has now been converted into this beautiful Nendoroid!
Following the well-received feedback from last year’s collaboration, the Snow Miku x Hello Kitty second collaboration has been announced for Hokkaido under an all-new visual by the artist Saine. The collaboration features limited goods release now on sale at souvenir shops all over Hokkaido, including the one and only Snow Miku Sky Town. Limited release goods include exclusive clear files, notepads, can badges, hair rubbers, souvenir bags, and so much more to browse through!
