For the month of December, PlayStation is offering up an absolutely top-notch first-person shooter with fluid controls, a superb campaign, and an outstanding multiplayer suite for free. You can also get a sponsored motorcross racing game, too. Both are available as part of PlayStation Plus, which means that if you're a member, you're losing out by not at least claiming them before the month is over. And if you're not a member, you can sign up for the service for extra-cheap right now, as there's a great PS Plus deal going.
The first game you should download is Titanfall 2 from Respawn. Set in the same universe as the more recent Apex Legends, Titanfall 2 features the tug-of-war mech and on-foot multiplayer combat from the first game, as well as a full-fledged (and excellent) campaign. It was overshadowed by other fall releases, but if you missed it the first time you should take the opportunity to catch up.
The second game of the month is Monster Energy Supercross. The official game of the Monster rally event features customized bikes and riders and a track editor.
