The Game Awards 2019 Promising 10 Reveals

The 2019 edition of The Game Awards takes place next week, and it's promising a lot of big reveals. Show organizer Geoff Keighley said in a post on Reddit that the event will bring around 10 new game/project reveals.

"We have a bunch of brand new games being announced at the show--I think there are around 10 new games/projects being revealed if you want to count the things that no one has heard about yet," Keighley said.

There have been rumors and reports circling around about what may be announced the show, but Keighley advised players to not trust everything they see on the internet. "As always the Internet has a lot of really bad information out there about what you think is at the show," he said.

The Resident Evil 3 Remake recently leaked, and some people suggested it may be officially announced at The Game Awards. However, Keighley said in another Reddit post that "nothing from our show has leaked this year."

A new Batman game is reportedly on the way. It's been speculated that this new Batman game will be revealed during the show, but nothing has been confirmed and no footage or art has leaked yet.

One of the confirmed reveals for The Game Awards is a new project from League of Legends developer Riot's publishing division, Riot Forge. Additionally, former Arkane bosses Raphael Colantonio and Julien Roby are announcing their first game at their new studio, Wolfeye.

The Game Awards 2019 takes place the evening of Thursday, December 12. Keep checking back with GameSpot for more as the show draws closer.

Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Google, Warner Bros., Ubisoft, Valve, Rockstar, and Activision are all partners for the event, though this doesn't necessarily guarantee new projects from these companies will be announced at the show.
