Western Release of Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku Announced
The Western release will be renamed to “Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!”, likely to help put more emphasis on Crypton Future Media’s characters, versus the other original characters also present in the game.

In the video above, you can first hear Hatsune Miku singing at 0:16~0:24. Kenji Kawai was in charge of the music composition for this commercial, so fans may recognize the hints at some of their other music works! Finally, there’s a Racing Miku 2017: Team Ukyo Cheer ver. prize figure from BANPRESTO is visible on the shelf at 0:42 in the trailer.
Hatsune Miku NT Updated to Include Whisper & Dark Libraries, Functionality Improvements
A software update for Hatsune Miku NT and Piapro Studio NT has been released today, finally bringing us the missing Whisper and Dark vocal libraries that were promised. An Original Animated Series & Webcomic Featuring Hatsune Miku is in Development
A new Hatsune Miku animated series, as well as a webtoons and comics, are currently in the early stages of development. The news officially broke via an exclusive posted by Deadline, and was later confirmed by Graphic India, one of the partners in the series creation.
Hatsune Miku Makes Brief Appearance in Apple Japan Mac Commercial
Starting at 0:19 into the commercial, Miku makes her surprise appearance with the text “北海度でつくる” (Made in Hokkaido). This brief 1 second scene features a clip taken from the MV for the Miku Expo 5th anniversary theme song “Lucky☆Orb“. This of course is a nod towards Crypton Future Media, which is based in Sapporo. The MV animator, Kasoku Sato, is based in Tokyo.
‘Hatsune Miku Airport’ Being Considered As Possible New Name For Sapporo City’s Airport
Most travel to Sapporo tends to be done through the much larger New Chitose airport, as it is capable of landing and takeoff of much larger aircraft. But residents of Hokkaido are familiar with Sapporo’s own airport, currently named Okadama Airport. There are plans to expand the airport to accommodate larger aircraft, which would allow more direct travel to the popular city. This plan for expansion also brought along the idea of renaming the airport to better represent the city.

Hatsune Miku Project DIVA: Mega Mix Now Launched With DLC Packs & Tap Play Mode in Tow
The game clocks in at 13.9GB in size (16.9GB with all updates and DLC), making it one of the largest games in filesize on the Nintendo eShop. Unless you have your Nintendo Switch’s internal memory relatively free, it is recommended to invest in a sizeable and speedy MicroSD card, which will also help with those loading times (128GB cards can be had for around $25). The base game is priced at $39.39 on the eShop.
