The latest entry in the Half-Life franchise, Half-Life: Alyx, is now available to pre-order through Steam. Doing so nets you 10% off as part of a special pre-purchase promotion that runs through March 30, 2020, bringing it down from $59.99 to $53.99.
Alyx is Valve's newest flagship Half-Life title, launching on any SteamVR-compatible headset. However, those who own Valve's VR headset Index already or those who buy it before the end of 2019 will get Half-Life: Alyx for free. Alyx is expected to launch sometime in March 2020.
Valve officially revealed Alyx earlier today. Alongside the announcement, the company released a gameplay trailer for the upcoming VR title, which can be viewed above. Alyx takes place between the events of Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 and is the first Half-Life game in more than a decade. The last entry was 2007's Half-Life 2: Episode Two.
