Destiny 2: The Dawning 2019 Recipes, All Cookie Ingredients, Gifts, And Rewards Guide

For 2019, Bungie has brought back Destiny 2's annual holiday event: The Dawning. Those wanting immediate gratification are in luck, as you can head to Eververse and buy a ton of items right away or complete a simple quest to get the new submachine gun. But the core of the event revolves around Eva's Holiday Oven 2.0, a revamped version of the oven from last year that allows you to combine special items to bake various treats. But with three slots to insert items into and a lot of different possible outcomes, you're likely wondering what The Dawning's baking recipes are, as you can waste ingredients if you don't know what to use. With that in mind, we've put together a list of all of the ones we're aware of so far, who to deliver them to as a gift, and how to collect the necessary ingredients.

Ingredients are obtained in a variety of ways, largely just by playing the game and killing enemies--on the latter front, certain enemy types yield specific materials (eg, kill Vex to get Vex Milk). Essence of Dawning is a recurring item you'll need for all recipes--15 is required for each thing you bake--and while that can be gotten from completing activities (such as Heroic public events), another reliable source of this is the weekly bounties that Eva offers. Many recipes return from last year, but there are new ones as well, so expect us to continue updating this as we're able to confirm more. The Dawning 2019 Rewards

As noted above, when you turn in your first baked treat to Zavala and return to Eva, she'll give you a rewards package. The most item inside is the new submachine gun, but it isn't the only thing that awaits you.

Eva gives you the Spreading Cheer quest. One of the steps to that involves baking a total of 50 gifts, and this thankfully includes progress you made during 2018's event. Complete all three steps and you'll earn the Alpine Dash Sparrow.
