Retro and Remastered PS4 Games Get Steep Discounts This Week

Video game remasters, remakes, and ports have become more prevalent than ever, and most of them have gotten pretty good. There are lots of approaches to bringing back old games; last year's Resident Evil 2 remake modernized the game completely, while Dark Souls Remastered simply updated the original game and ported it to new consoles like the Nintendo Switch. Regardless of how you like you refreshes, a brand-new sale on the PlayStation Store is slashing the prices on many of these remastered and retro-inspired games, and well over 100 games are currently discounted.

The Remasters & Retro Sale includes many of the best ports and remasters of recent years. Notably, you can snag Resident Evil 2's Deluxe Edition for just $23.09, down from $70. This comes with the Extra DLC Pack that includes various costumes, a new deluxe weapon, and the ability to swap in the original game's soundtrack. Meanwhile, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is down to $24, and Catherine: Full Body, which introduces a brand-new character, is on sale for $30.
