In case you have already cleared your calendar for E3 2020 from June 9-11, the official Electronic Entertainment Expo Twitter account has announced that badges can be purchased to attend the event in Los Angeles.
The tweet leads with the Gamer Badge, which is E3's general admissions of sorts, but you can register for all three of the event's badges. This includes the $165 Gamer Badge, the $995 Premium Badge, and the complementary (if you meet the necessary requirements) Industry Badge. You can pick them up on E3's site.

Not all badges grant the same access. The Gamer Badge only lets you wander the show floor the last two days of E3 2020; the Premium Badge gives you three-day access, discounts on merch, catered daily meals, "dedicated service for E3 hotel reservations," and more.
To register for the Industry Badge, which is only available until April 23, you must provide two of the following requirements:
- Verification of your employment on company letterhead.
- A link to your company website listing you as an employee.
- A business card matching the name of the company you represent.
- A link to a media article published in the last year that you authored or in which you are mentioned; article must include your company and affiliation.
This year's E3 will be much different in comparison to previous years, as the company has said it wants to "shake things up" for its annual convention. Amidst these plans, both Sony and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley have dropped from E3 2020. Nintendo and Xbox, meanwhile, will be in attendance. In fact, a whole list of companies making an appearance either on the show floor or with a presentation has been confirmed.
