Temtem Gets Off To A Strong Start With Impressive Sales Milestone

The Pokemon-like MMO Temtem has reached an admirable sales milestone for only being on the PC market for just a month. The team has announced that Temtem recently surpassed 500,000 copies sold worldwide.

This news comes just before developer Crema shared its Temtem roadmap plans for 2020. The roadmap will introduce new features and creatures coming throughout the year. Some additions will arrive in the spring, while others will land in the fall. But either way, Temtem will see some interesting updates all through 2020. The developer also promised that mid-term updates--such as a Trading House, Dojo Wars, end-game plans, and more--are coming sometime soon.

Temtem got off to a strong start when it launched in Early Access on January 21, topping the Steam charts. The game has even seen an increase in player numbers after incurring some server stability issues during launch. While Temtem is currently only available on PC, Crema has plans to bring the game to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at a later date.

Temtem has garnered a lot of comparisons to Pokemon. The game recently launched a new zone inspired by Pokemon Red/Blue. And in GameSpot's impressions piece, we cited the similarities between both games while also noting what Pokemon can learn from some of Temtem's "clever twists."
