Cyberpunk 2077 Pre-Order Guide: New Release Date, Bonuses, Special Editions, And Collectible Figures

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of 2020. Developer CD Projekt Red's follow-up to GameSpot 2015 Game of the Year The Witcher 3 shift's the company's focus from medieval fantasy to the cybernetic-laden future, while keeping the focus on choice, narrative, and characters, compounded with a dense city and a first-person perspective. It also stars Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, which is pretty cool. Though originally slated for April 16 of this year, CDPR has announced the game will instead release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 17, 2020. If you're looking to pre-order the game, there are a few things you may want to consider, such as where you want to get it and what edition you want.

Developers CD Projekt Red showed off extensive gameplay footage of Cyberpunk 2077 during a livestream on August 30, where we got a closer look at the combat, customizations, setting, and more. You can rewatch the entire broadcast in the video above.

As the game is based on Mike Pondsmith's tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, the 2020 release date makes total sense. However, the game itself is set 57 years later in the futuristic android-filled world of Night City, where android augmentations are an integral part of people's lives. There looks to be plenty of deep customization and lots of options when it comes to first-person combat. The team has confirmed Cyberpunk 2020 will not have microtransactions, will be DRM-free on PC, and have DLC similar in size to Witcher 3.

Enthralled with its mystique? We've got all the details where you can get your copies reserved down below.

Cyberpunk Collectible Figures

Along with the game itself, you can get a trio of Cyberpunk 2077 collectible figures, courtesy of McFarlane Toys, and which you can pre-order at both Walmart and GameStop. The first is a deluxe, 12-inch figure of Johnny Silverhand rocking a sick guitar.

If the first figure's a little expensive or big for you, you can get a 7-inch figure of Johnny throwing up the horns for cheaper.

Finally, you can nab a 7-inch figure of the game's protagonist (or their male default look, anyway), V, for a similar price.
