Geralt Is In A Bathtub In Netflix's Witcher Trailer

The new trailer for Netflix's The Witcher is here, and we couldn't be more excited. While the video displayed some cool stuff, like Geralt using the Aard sign, there was one moment that had everyone talking: Henvy Cavill as Geralt sitting in a bathtub. Yes, that's a big deal to fans of The Witcher.

Very early on in 2015's The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, there is a cutscene that features Geralt of Rivia, laying in a bathrub, with his legs spread. It had become a meme, a cute toy, and even a statue from Dark Horse, believe it or not. Because this moment was so iconic, it was recreated for December's The Witcher series on Netflix.

Below, you can see the comparison between the two moments, on Netflix's The Witcher, Geralt is played by Henry Cavill, who you may remember as Superman from the various recent DC Universe movies--the actor that had to have his mustache digitally removed for the Justice League movie.

Sure, Geralt isn't in full-on relax mode, with his feet hanging off of the tub, but the moment is still adapted to the small screen. Is there any moment from Witcher 3 more worth to be depicted in this show? I can't think of one. Obviously, this has already gone over extremely well with fans of The Wild Hunt on Twitter.

How long until Funko makes a Geralt in a bathtub Pop figure now? I'm guessing in about 15 minutes from now. The Witcher arrives on Netflix on December 20, the same day as Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. Christmas is coming five days early to all of us.
