Dying Light 2 is set to build on Techland's immersive zombie sim series in some intriguing ways. Set 15 years after the events of the first game, the Dying Light 2 expands on the oppressive zombie world and open-ended parkour movement the series is built on. It sounds promising but unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to wait for a while to see how it turns out--developer and publisher Techland has announced it's delaying the game indefinitely for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Techland announced the title during Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference, alongside noted RPG designer and writer Chris Avellone, who serves as the game's narrative designer. The involvement of Avellone (noted for Planescape: Torment, Pillars of Eternity, and Into the Breach, among others) signals a much greater focus on choice and branching narrative than the first game. Player actions will have far-reaching consequences, fundamentally shaping the world of the game in sometimes unexpected ways.

Although the game does not yet have a release date, if you're eager to secure a copy already, we're here to help.
Dying Light 2 Pre-Order Bonuses
No pre-order bonuses have yet been announced for Dying Light 2, unlike the first game, which partitioned PvP multiplayer behind a general pre-order bonus, in addition to retailer-specific weapons and cosmetics.
Dying Light 2 Standard Edition
The standard edition will include the base game and any pre-order bonuses that might be announced later. Also take note that for whatever reason the game is slightly cheaper at Walmart, currently.
