A software update for Hatsune Miku NT and Piapro Studio NT has been released today, finally bringing us the missing Whisper and Dark vocal libraries that were promised. The update also fixes some bugs, and adds some new functionality to help streamline the user experience. Check out the patch notes below!

Next Generation Hatsune Miku NT (New Type) Software Version Announced, Preorders and Demo Songs Released
Crypton Future Media has officially announced the latest version of Hatsune Miku’s singing synthesis software, which will be called Hatsune Miku NT (New Type). Hatsune Miku NT is scheduled for a late August 2020 release (with a beta release in Mid-March 2020).
In a surprising and previously unheard of move for any Vocaloid software, a voice library update has been issued by Crypton Future Media for Hatsune Miku V4 Chinese! This update to the voice library improves the pronunciation and sound quality, and is available for both the package and download versions of the software. Updated demo songs are embedded below.
Simply put, Crypton Future Media will be moving Hatsune Miku and their other characters away from Yamaha’s VOCALOID engine. This is arguably the biggest change to happen to Hatsune Miku’s software since her initial release in 2007, so there’s understandably quite a few fans that might be confused as to what this means, and might even be worried. So here’s a rundown of what the known changes are, and what they will mean for Vocaloid fans as consumers, and Vocaloid music creators.
Sega has announced a new Hatsune Miku smartphone game project under the title “Project Sekai” developed by Colorful Palette, a new studio by Craft Egg (BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!), with an immediate launch of the teaser site upon the announcement. Not much is known about the game for now, but the target platforms are known to be both iOS and Android. A promotional video has been released for the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MEGA39’s detailing its release date and the long hinted new game mode. Packing with 10 years of SEGA feat. HATSUNE MIKU Project history, the game will be released in Japan on February 13th, 2020, as well as a western release to follow shortly in 2020 under the title Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix.

In commemoration of the anniversary, Sega has announced a brand new Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA title “Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA MEGA 39’s” to be released as the first Project DIVA title ever on the Nintendo Switch.
A new Hatsune Miku model has been released for MikuMikuDance, created by Muubu! This extra-cute model has been developed by Muubu for over a year, and is now being released for download as a trial (unfinished) version for the first time.
