Epic Reveals Next Week's Free PC Games

The Epic Games Store's latest round of freebies just went live today, but it's never too soon to look ahead. Epic has revealed that Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Aztez will be free from February 13 to February 20.

Released in 2018, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a realistic action-RPG that takes place in medieval Bohemia during the age of the Holy Roman Empire. You play as Henry, a young peasant out for revenge after watching his parents die during a vicious massacre in his village.

Critic Brett Todd awarded the game an 8/10 in GameSpot's Kingdom Come: Deliverance review. "It's an impressive and unflinching look at the medieval era that transports you inside the compelling story of a real person caught in the middle of a civil war. As such, this is one of those rare, memorable games that stays with you long after you stop playing," Todd wrote.

Aztez also revolves around a historical empire, but it takes itself less seriously. A side-scrolling beat 'em up rendered in black and white, Aztez has intricate combos and incredibly satisfying animations. Aztez also splices an interesting turn-based meta-game between the side-scrolling levels. The game uses randomization to make each run through the campaign feel different.

While you wait for Kingdom Come and Aztez, don't forget to claim Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne, the pair of digital board games that are free now until February 13. If you haven't grabbed free games from Epic before, you simply need a free Epic account.
